Nimonic 75 is a nickel chromium alloy with controllable addition of titanium and carbon. Nimonic 75 exhibits excellent mechanical properties and oxidation resistance at high temperatures. It is most commonly used in sheet metal manufacturing that requires oxidation resistance and moderate strength at high operating temperatures. The Nimonic 75 was first introduced in the 1940s for use as a turbine blade. Nimonic 75 is easy to manufacture and weld, and is also used in gas turbine engines, industrial furnace components, heat treatment equipment and fixtures, and nuclear engineering.
