Alloy 601 (UNS N06601) is a nickel chromium alloy with added aluminum, which has excellent oxidation resistance and high-temperature corrosion resistance. Alloy 601 also exhibits high mechanical properties at high temperatures. Alloy 601 is used in industrial furnaces, radiation tubes, thermalcouple tubes, and heat treatment equipments, muffle furnaces, distillers, petrochemical processes, and aircraft components.
