ASTM B161 Ni200 （UNS N02200） is a commercial pure nickel material (nickel content ≥ 99.0%) that meets the ASTM B161 standard and has excellent corrosion resistance, thermal conductivity, and low-temperature toughness. Its seamless tube form is made through hot extrusion or cold drawing processes, and is widely used in high-purity medium transportation or special environments in fields such as chemical engineering, electronics, and energy.
Manufacturing process of Ni200 seamless tube: Hot extrusion molding, heating the raw nickel ingot to 1150-1250 ° C, forming the tube blank through an extruder, suitable for large-diameter thick walled tubes, with refined grain size and uniform mechanical properties. Cold drawn forming, cold drawing reduction+annealing (700-900 ° C), improves surface smoothness and dimensional accuracy, suitable for high-precision thin-walled tubes (wall thickness up to 0.5mm), and suitable for the electronics industry.
Heat treatment: Annealing temperature: 700-925 ° C (to eliminate cold working stress and restore corrosion resistance).
