Hastelloy C-276 (standard grade, no "C276D" model) Forged Ring is a ring-shaped component formed through forging process, designed for extreme corrosion and high mechanical stress conditions, widely used in high-end equipment in chemical, nuclear power, oil and gas fields.
The manufacturing process of Hastelloy C-276 forging ring adopts vacuum induction melting (VIM)+electroslag remelting (ESR) technology for C-276 ingots, ensuring high purity (low S and P impurities). Hot forging: Heating to 1120-1177 ° C (above C-276 recrystallization temperature), forming by radial forging or ring rolling, typical process is solution treatment (1121 ° C water quenching), restoring the corrosion resistance and optimizing the strength after forging. Controlled cooling: Slow cooling or direct aging treatment after forging to avoid deformation caused by residual stress.
Hastelloy C276 adopts turning/grinding to the target size (outer diameter can reach several meters) in precision machining; Surface acid washing or passivation treatment to remove the oxide layer and enhance corrosion resistance.
