UNS N05500 (Monel K-500) nickel copper alloy can significantly improve its mechanical properties by adding aluminum and titanium for age hardening treatment. The main components that meet the ASTM B865 standard are: nickel content of 63.0% -70.0%, copper as the remaining part, aluminum of 2.30% -3.15%, and titanium of 0.35% -0.85%.
After age hardening, the tensile strength of UNS N05500 can reach over 965 MPa, the yield strength exceeds 690 MPa, and the elongation rate remains above 15%. It is suitable for high temperature (below 480 ℃) and high stress environments.
