The chemical formula of alloy C276 is Cr2Ni3MoV, which belongs to the chromium nickel iron austenitic stainless steel series. Its density is 7.93g/cm ³, lighter than steel but with higher hardness, reaching HRC60-65. It has excellent corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, and wear resistance. The welding performance and machinability of alloy C276 are good, and it can be easily formed by cold and hot pressure processing. In addition, its elastic modulus and tensile strength are also important characteristics, with a tensile strength of not less than 480N/mm ².
Alloy C276 is considered a versatile corrosion-resistant alloy, particularly resistant to wet chlorine, various oxidizing chlorides, chloride salt solutions, sulfuric acid, and oxidizing salts. It has excellent corrosion resistance in both low and medium temperature hydrochloric acid. However, as the corrosion temperature increased from 800 ℃ to 1000 ℃, the delamination of the corrosion layer in alloy C276 became more pronounced, the damage to the oxide film became more severe, and grain boundary corrosion occurred in the alloy matrix at 1000 ℃.
Alloy C276 has a wide range of specifications, including thickness, outer diameter, wall thickness, and other specifications. It can produce forgings, bars, plates, strips, rings, wires, flanges, etc. according to customer requirements. It has a wide range of applications and is widely used in industries such as aerospace, power, petrochemicals, ships, machinery, electronics, and environmental protection.
