● Distribution of nickel ore resources in China
Mainly distributed in the northwest, southwest and northeast of my country.
In terms of provinces (regions), Gansu has the largest reserves, accounting for 62% of the country's total nickel ore reserves (in which Jinchang's nickel production and refining scale ranks second in the world), followed by Xinjiang (11.6%), Yunnan (8.9%), Jilin (4.4%), Hubei (3.4%) and Sichuan (3.3%). The three major nickel mines in my country are Jinchuan Nickel Mine, Kalatongke Nickel Mine and Huangshan Nickel Mine. The main manufacturers are: Jinchuan Group Co., Ltd., Jilin Jien Nickel Industry Co., Ltd., Xinjiang Nonferrous Metals Industry (Group) Fukang Smelter. Nickel is a chemical element. The chemical symbol Ni, atomic number 28, atomic weight 58.69, belongs to group VIII of the periodic system. The ancient Egyptians, Chinese and Babylonians all used meteorite iron with high nickel content to make utensils, and the nickel content in the nickel ore produced in ancient China's Yunnan was very high.
