Inconel 625 alloy is a nickel based superalloys, mainly composed of nickel, chromium, molybdenum, and containing small amounts of iron and niobium. The addition of chromium and molybdenum enhances the oxidation and corrosion resistance of the alloy, while niobium enhances its ability to resist stress corrosion cracking. The microstructure of this alloy is a face centered cubic austenite phase, providing excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. ‌
